The Nile Basin Society's founder - Dr. Nabil M. El-Khodari - has dedicated his time to ICT issues of the Nile Basin. Now that he relinquished control of the Nile Basin Society to Hon. Robert Ssebunnya - Ex-Ugandan Minister of Health - and Alfred Balinda - NBS Board Member - he will devote his full time to enhancing web presence of Nile Basin organizations, particularly NGOs and small business. This is a personal decision may be brought about by frustration of affecting change in policies and/or people through advocacy. It is also positive in the sense that it will eventually affect change on the long run, while showing the fruits of efforts on the short-term.
Nabil will provide the best cost/effective hosting and services to all Nile Basin organizations, through his company Nile Communications http://nilecomm.com. He hopes to prevent abuse of these organizations by ISPs; local and international alike.
